JFFL Website Changes!

You may have noticed multiple changes to the 2011 version of the JFFL website. Here is a brief rundown of the additions/modifications:

1. Rotoworld Player News:  The sidebars on the right side of the front page include 2 new sections. The PLAYER NEWS BY ROTOWORLD section lists up-to-the-minute news blurbs regarding NFL players, injuries, statuses, etc. The FF ARTICLES BY ROTOWORLD section lists links to articles written by the sports staff of Rotoworld.com. Simply refresh the page to update the links and news for both sections.

2. JFFL Posts Section:  The left-hand (biggest) column on the page lists the posts and news as provided by the JFFL Commisioner (and others). The top-most post is usually the most recent post. Directly below it is the FEATURED POSTS section. This section lists posts the Commisioner feels are important/relevant enough to remain on the home page of the site. Finally, the bottom-most section is the JFFL TRANSACTIONS posts. These are quick, small blurbs recording the trades, drops, pick-ups, etc. for all teams and players in the JFFL. Remember, the most recent posts are still listed in the right-most sidebar under RECENT JFFL NEWS, and posts in specific categories (like Transactions and Scores) can be quickly accessed under the POST CATEGORIES section in the same sidebar.

3. JFFL Podcasts:  Exciting, huh?! Cash and I have discussed the possibility of recording occasional (weekly?) podcasts to post on the site. So far, it looks likely…but we’ll let you know as soon as we know for sure. To access podcasts, click on the JFFL PODCASTS page listed near the top of the page, or click the Click Here to Listen to JFFL Podcasts image above the right-hand sidebars.

4. Drop-Down Menus:  Remember last year when we had to click on the TEAMS page, then find our team, and then click on another link to get to our team page? Well this year’s site includes drop-down menus from the page menu at the top of the site window. Just hover over the TEAMS page link (for example) and select your team’s page from the drop-down list.

5. JFFL Super Bowl Logos:  Interested in the history of our league? Check out THE HALL from the pages links. Specifically, check out the new JFFL SUPER BOWL LOGOS page to view previous JFFL Super Bowl logos designed by us since the first season of the JFFL (2005). Click Here to see the new page.

Finally, don’t forget to check out the sidebar sections that remain from last year, such as JFFL GEAR (to buy JFFL shirts and merchandise) and the JFFL BY EMAIL feature that allows you to sign up for notifications from JFFL by email.
