Joplin Fantasy Football League
Rules
1. Every team must have 2 QBs, 4 RBs, 4 WRs, 2TEs, 2 Ks, and 2 Defs at ALL times on their roster.
2. Starting line up each week consists of 1QB, 2RBs, 2WRs, 1TE, 1K, and 1 Def and must be emailed to me by Friday at midnight. If we have Thursday games those players must be in by Wednesday at Midnight. If you do not turn in your line ups for 2 consecutive weeks then your games are forfeit until you do. The first week you do not turn in a line up you are not eligible for a weekly prize.
3. Each team can use one game time decision but the player you are using it for must actually be hurt. If the player you originally select plays I will give you his point total even if the other player scored higher. You only get your 2nd choices total if your GTD doesnt play.
4. Trades can be made at anytime during the week but in order to use them in that weeks line up they must be in to me by Thursday at Midnight. A trade is only complete when I get a confirmation email from both owners and I have posted it on the site. Trades may be voided by me or by majority vote from the owners. Trade deadline is week 6 of the season.
5. TEAM STACKING and or trading players for lesser players and money on the side is strictly FORBIDDEN!!!! and is subject to forfeit of the rest of your games for the year. (That does not mean you can whine to me if you make a stupid trade and try to get your players back.)
6. Free Agent pick ups are first come first serve. However if a player is released he must remain on the waiver wire for 24 hours before he can be claimed. In order to use them in that weeks line up they must be submitted to me by Thursday at midnight and transaction will be complete when I have posted them on the site.
7. Injured Players may be placed on IR and replaced by a free agent for a period of 3 weeks without taking up a roster spot. After 3 weeks a choice must be made to keep or drop and which one you want. A player must actually be hurt to be on the IR.
9. Each division contains 5 teams. The 3 best records from each division goes to the playoffs with the best record from each getting a bye week.
10. The winners of the playoffs in each division go to the Super Bowl with the winner getting $100.00 a t shirt and bragging rights. The runner up gets $50.00 and the bad taste in his mouth of being so close and blowing it.
11. At the end of the year we will give a new award. ” The Golden Trash Can ” . It will be voted on by the owners and given to the best trash talker for the entire year. So owners keep the trash coming and read them closely.
12. The high Score each week gets a $10.00 weekly prize. So for example you get high score 3 weeks you get $30 bucks. Careful though what you wish for owners the team that has won the most weekly prizes has lost in their frist play off game each of the last 3 years.
13. The team that scores the most total points for the season receives a $30.00 prize
Scoring
QBs: 1 point for every 50 yards throwing, 5 point bonus for going over 400 yards, 1 point for every 30 yards rushing and 6 points for every TD.
RBs: 1 point for every 20 yards rushing, 1 point for every 30 yards recieving and 6 points for every TD. 5 point bonus for rushing for 200 yds or more.
WRs: 1 point for every 15 yards receiving, 1 point for every 30 yards rushing, and 6 points for every TD. 5 point bonus for going 200 yds or more rec.
TEs: 1 point for every 15 yards receiving and 6 points for every TD.
Ks: 1 point for every extra point, 3 points for every field goal and a 2 point bonus for anything 50 or over.
Defs/Spe. Teams: 2 points for every turn over( INT, Fumble), 2 points per sack, and 6 points for every TD, 3 points for holding opponent under 13, 10 point bonus for a shutout. Special teams go with defense. IF you drafted Devin Hester you don’t get his kick returns if you drafted the Bears defense you do. 6 points for every TD on special teams no yardage points. 2 points for a blocked kick or punt.
